Ravenna [Italy], July 27 (ANI/WAM): The UAE parachuting team secured six medals at the FAI World Style and Accuracy Landing Championship, which concluded yesterday in Ravenna, Italy. The event featured top parachutists and skydivers from around the world.
Abdulbari Qubaisi claimed four medals, including a gold in the “Accuracy” category and three silver medals in the overall ranking, “Distance,” and “Freestyle” categories. His outstanding performance included full marks in the first and second rounds, earning a total of 291 points and placing him second in the overall ranking.
National team skydiver Cornelia Mihai added two medals to the tally, winning silver in the “Speed” category and bronze in the “Freestyle” category.
Mohammed Yousuf Abdul Rahman, General Secretary of the Emirates Aerosport Federation (EAF), praised the team’s exceptional performance and expressed gratitude to the Skydive Dubai team for their support during the preparatory phase. (ANI/WAM)
