Tel Aviv [Israel], July 31 (ANI/TPS): The Fuel and Gas Administration in Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced a slight decrease in fuel prices beginning at midnight between Thursday and Friday (July 31–August 1, 2025).
According to the update, the maximum price for a litre of unleaded 95 octane gasoline at self-service stations, including VAT, will be 7.07 shekels (approximately USD 2.08) per litre—down 0.08 shekels from the previous price. The surcharge for full-service refueling will remain unchanged at 0.24 shekels per litre.
Batsheva Abuhatsira, Director of the Fuel and Gas Administration, explained that the price reduction is due to two primary factors: a 3 percent decrease in international gasoline prices during July, and a 1 percent weakening of the US dollar against the Israeli shekel.
“This is the lowest price at the pump since the beginning of 2024,” Abuhatsira said. She encouraged consumers to compare fuel prices across stations and wished all Israeli households a safe and pleasant journey.
The Ministry continues to monitor fuel pricing closely and adjust monthly based on global energy market trends and exchange rates. (ANI/TPS)
