
Gaza [Palestine], August 20 (ANI/WAM): The United Arab Emirates has continued its humanitarian support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, carrying out its 75th airdrop of aid under the Birds of Goodness initiative, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The effort was conducted in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the participation of Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Singapore and Indonesia.
The shipment included essential food supplies prepared with the support of Emirati charitable institutions and organizations, aimed at meeting the urgent needs of Gaza’s population amid dire humanitarian conditions.
With the completion of this airdrop, the total aid delivered by air under the operation has surpassed 4,012 tonnes of food and other critical supplies. Officials said the initiative reaffirms the UAE’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening their resilience in the face of ongoing hardships.
These efforts underscore the UAE’s role in international relief operations, fostering regional and global cooperation while advancing the nation’s approach of humanitarian giving to alleviate the suffering of crisis-affected communities. (ANI/WAM)
