Phoenix (Arizona) [US], September 13 (ANI): Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, delivered an emotional address at a news conference on Friday (local time), her first public remarks since her husband’s death.
According to CNN, Erika Kirk said that the movement her husband built “will not die.”
“If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country,” she declared.

Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, died on Wednesday after being shot while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Standing alongside US Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha, who escorted Charlie Kirk’s body, Erika Kirk vowed to continue her husband’s work.
“Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby,” she said tearfully. “I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.”
She recalled the heartbreaking moment when she returned home Thursday night. Their three-year-old daughter asked, “Where’s daddy?”
“I said, ‘Baby, daddy loves you so much. Don’t you worry. He’s on a work trip with Jesus so he can afford your blueberry budget,’” Erika remembered.

Addressing her late husband directly, she added:
“I can’t wait to see you again one day.”
Meanwhile, authorities confirmed that the suspect in Kirk’s killing, Tyler Robinson, is being held at a county jail in Spanish Fork, Utah, on multiple preliminary charges. These include aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and obstruction of justice, a Utah County Jail officer told CNN. Robinson has not been formally charged yet, and initial charging documents remain unavailable, according to Utah officials.
At a separate press briefing, FBI Director Kash Patel said the agency had made “historic progress” in the investigation.
“In less than 36 hours—33 to be precise—thanks to the full weight of the federal government and the partnership with the state of Utah and Gov. Cox, the suspect was apprehended in a historic time period,” Patel stated.
He also expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump, crediting federal support for enabling swift action.
In a moving tribute to his late friend, Patel concluded with a personal message:
“To my friend, Charlie Kirk: Rest now, brother. We have the watch. And I’ll see you in Valhalla.” (ANI)
