Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 10 (ANI): Veteran actor Dharmendra has reportedly been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
According to a statement released by his family, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
The “He-Man” of Bollywood has had a cinematic career spanning over six decades, featuring in more than 300 films. Dharmendra is celebrated for his iconic performances in movies such as Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Phool Aur Patthar, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Seeta Aur Geeta, Raja Jani, Jugnu, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Dost, Sholay, Pratiggya, Charas, and Dharam Veer, among others.
In 2023, he appeared in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar, alongside Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film, a blend of comedy and romance, focused on the couple’s decision to live with each other’s families before marriage to bridge cultural differences.
Dharmendra continued to impress audiences with his acting in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He will next be seen in Ikkis. (ANI)
