Washington, DC [US], December 25 (ANI): US President Donald Trump on Wednesday extended Christmas greetings while launching a sharp political attack on what he described as the “Radical Left Scum,” asserting that their efforts to “destroy” the country were failing as he highlighted what he called economic and national security achievements under his leadership.
In a post on X, Trump claimed that the United States no longer faced issues such as open borders, men competing in women’s sports, widespread transgender policies, or weak law enforcement. He also cited what he described as strong economic indicators.
He said the country currently has a record stock market and 401(k)s, the lowest crime levels in decades, no inflation, and a GDP growth rate of 4.3 percent, which he claimed was two points higher than expected.
“Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly. We no longer have Open Borders, Men in Women’s Sports, Transgender for Everyone, or Weak Law Enforcement. What we do have is a Record Stock Market and 401K’s, Lowest Crime numbers in decades, No Inflation, and yesterday, a 4.3 GDP, two points better than expected,” Trump wrote.
He also credited tariffs for generating “trillions of dollars in growth and prosperity” and said the country now enjoys what he described as the strongest national security it has ever had.
“Tariffs have given us Trillions of Dollars in Growth and Prosperity, and the strongest National Security we have ever had. We are respected again, perhaps like never before. God Bless America!!!” he added.
This is not the first time Trump has mixed political commentary with Christmas greetings. In his 2024 Christmas message, he referred to his political opponents as “Radical Left Lunatics” and criticized former US President Joe Biden for issuing pardons toward the end of his tenure.
“Merry Christmas to the Radical Left Lunatics, who are constantly trying to obstruct our Court System and our Elections,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, adding that they were seeking pardons from “a man who has absolutely no idea what he is doing.”
Meanwhile, during the annual NORAD Santa calls with children on Christmas Eve, Trump said US Command tracks Santa to ensure that he is “being good,” adding that the country would not allow a “bad Santa” to infiltrate the United States.
“We track Santa all over the world. We want to make sure that Santa is being good. Santa’s a very good person. We want to make sure that he’s not infiltrating and that we’re not infiltrating into our country a bad Santa. So, we found out that Santa is good,” Trump said.
Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were interacting with children while vacationing at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command tracks every aircraft flying over North America to help keep the continent’s airspace secure year-round. Since 1955, NORAD has also tracked Santa Claus’s traditional around-the-world journey from the North Pole each December.
