Kuwait City [Kuwait], March 17 (ANI): The Indian Embassy in Kuwait announced Tuesday that all consular services are continuing as usual during the holy month of Ramadan.
The embassy’s four Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) remain operational with revised working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., ensuring uninterrupted services for Indian nationals in Kuwait.
According to the embassy, the ICAC in Kuwait City is located on the third floor of Al Jawhara Tower on Ali Al Salem Street. In Jleeb Al Shouyakh, services are available on the M floor of the Nesto Hypermarket building. In Fahaheel, the office is situated in the Al Anoud Shopping Complex on Mekka Street, while in Jahra, services are provided at Al Khalifa Building, Building No. 27, second floor.
The embassy said that in case of emergencies or queries, Indian citizens can contact its 24/7 helpline at +965 6550 1946 or email [email protected] for assistance. Updates and information related to consular services are also available through the embassy’s social media platforms, including X.
“All consular services of the embassy are continuing as usual. The embassy’s four Indian Consular Application Centres are operational following Ramadan working hours (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.),” officials said.
The announcement reassures Indian nationals in Kuwait that routine passport, visa, and other consular services will not be disrupted during Ramadan.
The embassy’s communication is part of ongoing efforts to maintain accessibility and convenience for the large Indian community in Kuwait, particularly during periods of adjusted working hours. By offering multiple service locations across the country, the embassy aims to ensure essential services remain easily accessible.
Kuwait hosts a significant Indian expatriate population, making such announcements important for residents planning visits for passport renewals, visa processing, and other official documentation.
Meanwhile, Kuwait has strongly condemned continued Iranian strikes against the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf nations, according to Gulf News. The response follows an incident in which a missile struck a civilian vehicle in the Al Bahya district of Abu Dhabi, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
In a statement released through the Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack as a “flagrant violation of international laws and norms.”
The ministry further characterized the situation as a “dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.”
Kuwaiti officials reaffirmed their rejection of any actions targeting the security of “brotherly and friendly countries,” emphasizing the need to prevent further escalation.
The statement also expressed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and pledged support for measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability. (ANI)
