Baloch American Congress Secretary General Razzak Baloch has called on the international community, particularly India and the United States, to support the Baloch freedom movement. In an interview with TAG TV, he revealed that around 70 to 80 percent of Balochistan is now a no-go area for the Pakistani military, with control limited to Quetta. He noted that Pakistani forces avoid venturing outside Quetta after dark due to security concerns.
Razzak Baloch emphasized the critical role of foreign support to weaken the Pakistani military’s presence in areas like Chowni and Quetta. Acknowledging the ongoing protests and the imprisonment of Marang Baloch, he highlighted that leaders like Sardar Akhtar Mengal continue to resist despite facing challenges.
When asked about India’s potential role, he stated that while the Baloch people do not plead, they would welcome Indian support for their freedom. He warned that failing to support the movement would only strengthen the military’s grip, impacting not just Balochistan but the entire region. He urged democratic countries to host Baloch representatives and recognize their struggle for self-determination, calling for peace and an end to military oppression. (ANI)
