Where there is peace, happiness abounds,
But in its absence—only misery and gloom,
Diminishing the value of life,
And clouding hearts with doom.
Peace is cherished by noble souls,
Willing to pay a heavy price.
Yet rapacious minds sometimes arise,
Shattering the air of tranquility.
Warring factions may resent
The thought of harmony and calm,
For if they’ve never tasted peace,
How could they know its balm?
To know and truly love peace,
One must be steeped in love—
Not just for self, but for others too,
Agape love, selfless unrestrained.
Maintaing peace is no easy task
It demands sacrifice and grace.
Only noble souls will dare
To trek that rugged trail.
To gain true peace, one must begin anew,
Let go of selfish schemes,
And learn to hold the good of all
As part of life’s great dream.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
Where there’s peace, happiness abound
But, in its absence only misery and gloom
diminishing the value of life
