New Delhi [India], December 14 (ANI): The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Government of Gujarat, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bosch Home Comfort India Limited to establish Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Skill Development Centres in Northern Gujarat.
The collaboration will set up HVAC Skill Development Centres across Northern Gujarat, with the nodal centre to open at Ganpat University in Mehsana. The initiative aims to deliver specialised technical training, enhance employability, and foster entrepreneurship in the HVAC sector, supporting Gujarat’s vision for industrial excellence and workforce development. The centres are expected to train over 2,000 students and technicians across residential and commercial HVAC segments.
Sanjay Sudhakaran, Managing Director of Bosch Home Comfort India Limited, said the partnership addresses the urgent need for skilled HVAC professionals while empowering local talent to drive innovation and sustainability.
The HVAC Skill Development Centre at Ganpat University will be inaugurated within the next three to six months. It will feature advanced HVAC laboratories with live systems, smart classrooms with simulation tools, and access to Bosch’s energy-efficient solutions, including Nano Tech Ultra systems. The curriculum, developed jointly by Bosch, Ganpat University, and CED, will align with NSDC standards and be delivered by certified instructors using a blended learning approach combining theory and practical application.
Training will cover HVAC installation and maintenance, energy efficiency, intelligent cooling systems, safety protocols, troubleshooting, and essential soft skills. Graduates will receive industry-recognised certification and placement support through Ganpat University, Bosch’s partner network, and local industry collaborations, facilitating a smooth transition into the workforce and enabling contributions to HVAC, air conditioning, building automation, energy management, and facility operations.
