The community strongly condemned the attack, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives.
In a post shared on X, the Dawoodi Bohra community expressed their solidarity, stating, “The Dawoodi Bohra community condemns the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. This tragic event has taken the lives of innocent people, leaving families heartbroken. In solidarity with the victims and to honor their memory, our community members across the world observe a moment of silence.”
The attack in Pahalgam, attributed to Pakistan-backed jihadi terrorists, has sparked widespread international condemnation. Meanwhile, in Toronto, Canada, hundreds of people from various communities came together to hold a massive candlelight vigil and rally against the attack. The vigil, organized by Hindu Forum Canada, COHNA, and other groups, highlighted the shared commitment to combat terrorism and extremism. Participants, including Hindus, Jews, Baloch, Iranians, and others, marched through the streets, chanting slogans and urging the Canadian government to designate Pakistan as a terrorist state.
