Amritsar (Punjab), April 14 (ANI): In a significant breakthrough, the Border Security Force (BSF) recovered a drone carrying a pistol, magazine, and live rounds in the Amritsar district of Punjab, thwarting an apparent cross-border smuggling attempt.
According to a statement from the Public Relations Officer (Punjab Frontier), the drone movement was intercepted in the border area of Dhanoe Kalan village around 2:50 PM on Monday. BSF troops immediately activated technical counter-measures, leading to the successful neutralization and recovery of the drone.
The recovered DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone had a packet attached, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape, which upon inspection revealed 1 pistol, 1 magazine, and 4 live rounds.
