Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 4 (ANI):
An unidentified woman’s dead body was discovered inside a bag near Vijaya Durga Owners Association Colony under Bachupally Police Station limits in Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Wednesday. Locals alerted the police after noticing a foul smell coming from the area.
A police team reached the spot and upon inspection found the bag contained the body of a female, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old, dressed in a maroon-colored outfit. The case was registered immediately, and special investigation teams have been formed under the supervision of K Suresh Kumar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Balanagar Zone. Further investigations are currently underway.
In a related update from the district, a violent bar brawl on May 26 turned fatal. The incident took place at Good Day Bar under Uppal police station limits around 10:30 PM. According to police reports, a dispute broke out between groups at adjacent tables. During the altercation, Sravan Kumar attacked Pawan Kumar by striking him on the head with a beer bottle, resulting in Pawan Kumar’s death at the scene.
The police continue to investigate both cases. (ANI)
