New Delhi [India], November 2 (ANI): The Indian Navy will lead the Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-2025) “Trishul,” jointly conducted with the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force, beginning in early November 2025.
The Western Naval Command, in close coordination with all three Services, will organize the exercise, which will feature large-scale operations across the creek and desert sectors of Rajasthan and Gujarat, along with comprehensive maritime maneuvers, including amphibious operations in the northern Arabian Sea.
Covering the Gujarat coast and adjoining maritime regions, the Army’s Southern Command, Western Naval Command, and South Western Air Command are the principal formations participating in the exercise. The Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force, and other central agencies will also take part in large numbers, reinforcing inter-agency coordination and integrated operations.
The exercise aims to validate and synchronize operational procedures across the three Services to enable joint effect-based operations in a multi-domain environment. Key objectives include enhancing interoperability of platforms and infrastructure, strengthening network integration across the Services, and advancing jointness in operations across land, air, and sea domains.
A major focus of the exercise is to enhance synergy among all participating forces and validate multi-domain integrated operations in a complex operational setting. This will involve large-scale deployment of Indian Navy warships, Indian Air Force fighter and support aircraft, and amphibious operations featuring the Indian Army and Navy’s amphibious components, including the Landing Platform Dock INS Jalashwa and Landing Craft Utility vessels (LCUs).
The exercise will also validate joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Cyber Warfare plans. Indian Navy carrier operations will be conducted jointly with shore-based Indian Air Force assets.
“Trishul” will highlight the effective employment of indigenous defense systems and demonstrate the principles of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Additionally, it will refine procedures and techniques to address emerging threats and the evolving nature of contemporary and future warfare.
TSE-2025 “Trishul” underscores the collective resolve of the Indian Armed Forces to operate in a fully integrated manner, enhancing joint operational readiness and strengthening national security preparedness. (ANI)
