New Delhi [India], July 27 (ANI): As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to evolve, a new wave of Indian entrepreneurs is creatively blending cutting-edge technology with traditional tools, transforming everyday experiences into smarter, more efficient solutions. From note-taking to productivity enhancement, these startups are reimagining familiar practices through the lens of innovation.
Their efforts are gaining traction—not just among consumers, but also from government bodies and international platforms—signaling India’s rising prominence in the global innovation landscape.
Many such innovations were recently showcased at the 25th edition of the Gifts World Expo held in the national capital. Among the standout participants was Hyderabad-based startup ReNote AI, which has developed smart reusable notebooks integrated with an AI-powered mobile app. The app converts handwritten notes into editable, searchable digital text, offering a seamless bridge between analog habits and digital convenience.
Founder Suman Balabommu shared that participating in the expo opened up unexpected opportunities:
“When we were exhibiting here, multiple people came up with different use cases. It gave us not only exposure but also valuable insights for our engineering and design teams,” he said.
Recognized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and Google as one of the top 100 Indian mobile apps, ReNote AI has also showcased its product at prestigious global events such as GITEX Dubai and the Osaka World Expo.
Speaking on what draws foreign buyers to the product, Balabommu emphasized the science behind the concept:
“Scientific studies have shown that writing on paper boosts focus, memory, and creativity. ReNote AI preserves these cognitive benefits while overcoming the limitations of traditional notebooks.”
He noted that international markets, particularly in the UAE, are showing strong interest:
“Compared to India, other countries are giving more preference. At GITEX Dubai, many were ready to invest in the product and explore expansion opportunities in the region.”
ReNote AI’s reusable notebook, supported by cloud syncing, not only reduces paper waste but also ensures notes are preserved for a lifetime—contributing to both productivity and sustainability.
“ReNote AI is not just a product; it’s a movement to revive mindful, healthy, and eco-conscious writing practices,” Balabommu added.
Beyond handwriting conversion, the AI system also offers real-time summaries, multi-language translation, automatic task and calendar syncing, and even sketch-to-image generation using generative AI. These features highlight a broader trend among Indian startups: a growing ambition to harmonize tradition with next-gen technology for global impact.
