
Tel Aviv, Israel, April 22 (ANI): Israel has strongly condemned the “heinous” terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and expressed its unwavering solidarity with India in the fight against terrorism.
- Guy Nir, Spokesperson of the Israeli Embassy in India, expressed his sorrow on social media, saying, “Deeply saddened by the heinous terror attack on tourists in #Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. Israel stands united with India in the fight against terrorism.”
- Reuven Azar, Israeli Ambassador to India, also condemned the attack and expressed support for India’s security forces in their ongoing efforts against terrorism. He said, “Sad and appalled following the terrorist attack in J-K, which took the lives of innocent civilians. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families and our support is for the security forces in their struggle against terror.”
In addition to Israel, Argentina’s Ambassador to India, Mariano Caucino, and Singapore’s High Commissioner to India, HC Wong, also condemned the attack, offering condolences to the victims’ families and expressing solidarity with India.
- Caucino wrote, “We convey our condolences to the victims of this abominable terrorist act. Argentina stands with India in rejecting all forms of terrorism, extremism, and bigotry. Always with Life and against Terror.”
- HC Wong expressed shock, saying, “Shocked to hear of the reprehensible attack on innocent tourists in #Pahalgam J&K. Our thoughts are with the family of the injured and deceased.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condemned the attack, offering condolences to the victims’ families and assuring that those responsible for the attack would be brought to justice. In a post on social media, PM Modi stated, “I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest.”
Security forces have launched anti-terror operations in response to the attack, with authorities vowing that the perpetrators will face a heavy price for their actions.
