Tel Aviv [Israel], October 6 (ANI/TPS): Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced on Monday that they discovered a cache of long-range rockets in Gaza City capable of striking deep into Israeli territory. The rockets were reportedly positioned and ready for launch toward the centre of Israel.
The discovery was made about a week ago by soldiers from the IDF’s 401st Armoured Brigade. The forces successfully neutralised the rockets without causing any casualties.
In addition to the rockets, Israeli forces uncovered a weapons cache containing explosives, radios, ammunition cartridges, and various arms, underscoring concerns about militant capabilities within Gaza.
