Milan [Italy], June 4 (ANI):
iMoon Lighting, a prominent Italian lighting company specializing in the food and fashion retail sectors, has announced its plans to enter the Indian market and establish its first international manufacturing facility in the country. The decision follows high-level discussions with India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal during his official visit to Italy.
“This is the first time the Italian company is going to make a manufacturing plant outside Italy,” said Pierluigi Gusmani, International Sales Director of iMoon Lighting, after meeting with Minister Goyal.
The move is part of a broader strategy to expand iMoon’s global footprint and aligns with India’s push to attract foreign direct investment in high-tech manufacturing. Minister Goyal’s bilateral meetings with top Italian CEOs have been focused on enhancing trade and investment collaboration between the two nations.
Chiranjeevi Ranjan, Lighting Designer at iMoon, shared the company’s phased plan for its India expansion.
“We are planning to set up our India office in Delhi this September-October and start our operations in India. In the first year, we will assemble our products in India, and from next year our plan is to start manufacturing in India,” he said.
The Delhi office will serve as iMoon’s regional headquarters, enabling the company to cater to the rapidly growing retail lighting demands in India and neighboring countries.
Known for its innovative lighting technologies tailored to enhance retail environments, iMoon Lighting currently supplies its solutions to 68 countries and operates all its manufacturing out of Italy. The company’s expansion into India marks a strategic milestone, allowing it to deliver localized, cost-effective solutions to one of the world’s most dynamic retail markets.
In addition to product supply, iMoon provides end-to-end lighting solutions through a dedicated team of lighting designers who manage projects from concept to installation, ensuring customized illumination strategies for every client. (ANI)
