
Jaraikela (Jharkhand), April 12 (ANI): A jawan of the Jharkhand Jaguar force was killed, and a CRPF personnel was injured in an IED blast during an ongoing anti-Naxal operation in Chaibasa district of Jharkhand on Saturday, officials confirmed.
According to a statement from Ranchi DIG and SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha, the Jharkhand Jaguar jawan succumbed to injuries sustained in the blast, while the injured CRPF jawan is currently undergoing treatment.
Earlier reports from the Jaraikela police station area also mentioned that two CRPF jawans were injured in a separate IED blast under similar circumstances during the anti-insurgency operations. Both personnel were airlifted to Ranchi for advanced medical care, and their conditions were reported to be stable.

“One jawan of Jharkhand Jaguar lost his life in the IED blast, while the CRPF jawan is undergoing treatment,” said SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha.
“Two CRPF jawans injured in an IED blast under Jaraikela police station limits during an anti-Naxal operation. They have been evacuated to Ranchi. Their condition is stable,” Chaibasa police confirmed.
