We are all basking in the afterglow of Diwali, India’s Christmas and New Year celebration rolled into one. And yes, Christmas is a few weeks away, while Thanksgiving and Guru Nanak Jayanti are next month. We should respect the festivals and celebrations of religions other than our own.
“The world would be a happier and unified place if people truly understood the essence of these festivals in their entirety. The understanding and acceptance that all religions are paths to the same spiritual principle will bring us closer together, potentially healing a fractured world,” says Abhishek Mishra, who has had his faith in the Divine strengthened by mysterious events unfolding in their home in Edison, New Jersey.
Faith can move mountains, as Jesus Christ said.
Abhishek Mishra and his family are religious by nature, but they can’t thank Lord Shiva enough for blessing their home. Mr. Mishra, who has had a successful run in the corporate sector, has told the press and shown them naturally formed (Swayambhu) images of Shiva appearing inside and outside their home without any human involvement.
The family and their friends were stunned to witness these sacred formations, which many believe to be a rare divine sign. “Lord Shiva, we call him Mahadev ji, has blessed our home, and we feel his divine presence on our property all the time,” said Mishra, who lives at 25 Lavender Drive in Edison, in the area known as Little India.

Among the astonishing manifestations at the Mishra house was a Shivling that took form in ice during the winter snow, while a 50-foot image of Lord Shiva holding a trident appeared in the backyard snow. Inside the home, an image of Shiva with Nandi was discerned on the bathroom tiles, and another meditative form of Shiva emerged from ice.
As the word spread, many people have been eager to witness this remarkable occurrence, calling it a true spiritual marvel. For many believers, the formations at the Mishra house are a sign of divine blessings, strengthening their faith and devotion.
Abhishek Mishra, an intuitive individual, wants to convey to those who are ready to listen that there is a Divine Power, referred to by different names in various religions and worshipped in different forms. More importantly, he says, aligning with that Divine Power will make our worldly life happy, peaceful, and prosperous.
Abhishek Mishra and his family are highly educated and accomplished. With a master’s in computer science from NYIT, he worked in the IT industry for 20 years at Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T and IBM. His wife, Namita, has a master’s in computer engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and has worked for Goldman Sachs and other leading companies. Their son, Avi, is pursuing a master’s degree in computer science from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). Their daughter, Anika, works as an Assistant Genetic Counselor at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ.
The Mishra family home welcomes visitors who would like to learn about and experience the spiritual miracle. Abhishek Mishra can be contacted at 732-690-0404 for more information.
