
Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 9 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 135 development projects valued at Rs 80.46 crore in Gadarwara, Narsinghpur district.
According to an official release, the Chief Minister inaugurated 67 completed projects worth Rs 56.58 crore and performed bhoomi pujan for 68 new projects worth Rs 23.88 crore. Among additional announcements, CM Yadav declared the construction of a Gaushala in Gadarwara and pledged to enhance public transport services across the state.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said, “The government shares a strong bond of trust and development with the people of Gadarwara.” He emphasized the state’s commitment to encouraging farmers to establish agro-based industries, noting that agricultural trade fairs are being organized to promote this initiative. Eligible farmers setting up such industries will receive up to 50% subsidy. He further announced that employment-generating units linked to agriculture would provide workers with a monthly remuneration of Rs 5,000.
Highlighting national achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Yadav stated that India has made historic strides in development and earned global recognition. “During his 11 years in office, Prime Minister Modi has delivered transformative reforms — from the peaceful passing of the Triple Talaq law and the abrogation of Article 370 to national security efforts and the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya,” he said.
The Chief Minister also interacted with newly enrolled schoolchildren, welcoming them with a traditional tilak and distributing books. He stressed that quality education is essential for children to learn about democracy, culture, and civilization, and to help them realize their dreams.
Reaffirming the state’s commitment to women’s empowerment, CM Yadav said the monthly assistance under the Ladli Behna Yojana would be increased to Rs 3,000 within five years. He remarked, “Thanks to this scheme, every month now feels like a festive occasion for women.” He also confirmed that 33% reservation for women will be implemented in both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections following delimitation.
Further announcements included the launch of the Mukhyamantri Sugam Bus Yojana for improving passenger convenience, and the resumption of State Transport Corporation bus services across Madhya Pradesh.
A new 132 kV power substation will be constructed in Saikheda, Narsinghpur district. CM Yadav also approved the construction of a 20-km road from Chichli to Salichouka at a cost of Rs 60 crore, and a 17.5-km road from Arjungaon to Gadarwara at a cost of Rs 27 crore.
