Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], February 11 (ANI): The Indore Narcotics Wing of Madhya Pradesh Police has busted an illegal MD drugs manufacturing unit in Kadrana village, Ashoknagar district, arresting two individuals, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Priyanshu Jain (31), a resident of Chanderi, and Raghvendra Singh (38), a resident of Kadrana village. Priyanshu was preparing MD drugs at Raghvendra’s residence when the raid took place on Tuesday (February 10).
DIG (Narcotics) Mahesh Chandra Jain said, “The Narcotics Wing successfully busted an MD drug manufacturing lab at the house of Raghvendra Singh. Two accused were arrested on the spot. The team recovered over 1,200 grams of MD drug, 2.5 kgs of liquid MD drug, and approximately 45 kilograms of chemicals and other materials used in production.”
During interrogation, Priyanshu Jain revealed that he learned to manufacture MD drugs through the internet and sourced raw materials online from Indore. He also disclosed that he owned a wheat grinding mill producing wheat flour, but heavy losses in his business led him to enter drug manufacturing for financial gain. Raghvendra Singh provided the space for the illegal lab.
