
Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 5 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday announced that the state received investment proposals worth approximately ₹1,950 crore during the Spiritual and Wellness Summit 2025, held in Ujjain. The summit positioned the state as a burgeoning hub for wellness and spiritual tourism, attracting significant investor interest in the sector.
Speaking at the event, CM Yadav expressed confidence in Madhya Pradesh’s emerging role in India’s wellness journey, stating, “Madhya Pradesh is ready to lead India’s wellness mission. Investment proposals worth about ₹1,950 crore were received in the Spiritual & Wellness Summit-2025 held in Ujjain today. Our state is becoming the country’s leading spiritual and wellness destination and is increasingly attracting investors in this space. With spiritual strength, Madhya Pradesh can evolve into a global engine of the wellness sector.”
He further emphasized the importance of spiritual development in achieving the vision of Viksit Madhya Pradesh–Viksit Bharat (Developed Madhya Pradesh–Developed India), noting that the state’s investor-friendly policies will play a pivotal role in this transformation.
CM Yadav was joined by spiritual leader Swami Chidananda Saraswati at the summit, which he described as a transformative platform uniting policy, investment, spirituality, and social welfare.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives like Heal in India and Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE), CM Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is being actively developed into a global center for holistic lifestyle and wellness innovation.
During the summit, the Chief Minister held 14 one-on-one meetings with potential investors in the wellness and hospitality sectors. Discussions centered around ground-level infrastructure needs, supportive policies, and priority areas of development.
