Dubai [UAE], July 14 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh has emerged as one of India’s leading states in economic growth, said Raghwendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Singh highlighted that the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has shown the highest growth rate in the country over the past 10–12 years.
Singh, who serves as the Principal Secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion as well as the Department of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, stated,
“India is the world’s fastest-growing economy. Excluding smaller states like Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh stands as the fastest-growing economy in India. Over the last 10–12 years, the GSDP of Madhya Pradesh has grown more than that of any other state.”
He credited Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s focused efforts in industrial development as a key contributor to this growth.
“The Chief Minister has shown a strong commitment to industrial development, which has played a significant role in accelerating economic growth in the state,” Singh added.
Singh also emphasized the government’s push for balanced regional development through initiatives like the Regional Industry Conclave.
“Efforts are being made to establish regional balance. The concept of the Regional Industry Conclave was developed to ensure coordinated industrial growth throughout Madhya Pradesh,” he explained.
The remarks come during CM Mohan Yadav’s official visit to Dubai as part of the Global Dialogue 2025. His tour, which includes visits to both the UAE and Spain from July 13 to 19, aims to attract global investment, promote technology sharing, and create new employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier in the day, CM Yadav interacted with the Madhya Pradesh diaspora in Dubai, where he praised the global Indian community for its cultural contributions.
“The Indian community has always been like sugar in milk—they blend in and bring sweetness,” he remarked.
“Our culture teaches us to remain connected to our roots, no matter where we are. This is what Prime Minister Modi calls Virasat Se Vikas—development rooted in heritage.”
The Chief Minister also expressed pride in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
“Today, there’s a global wave of admiration for India, and it is because of PM Modi. Wherever you want to go in the world, you must go through India. Everyone wants a photo with him—it fills us with pride.”
“We’ve seen how he addresses issues affecting Indians not just within the country but also abroad,” he added.
As part of his visit, CM Yadav also toured the Swaminarayan Temple in Dubai, which he described as
“a temple of God and a symbol of India’s trust.”
