The news has sent shockwaves through the Indian entertainment industry, with fans and colleagues mourning the untimely demise of the versatile performer.
Born on September 17, 1970, in New Delhi, Mukul Dev carved out a niche for himself in Indian cinema with a career spanning nearly three decades. He began his journey in the entertainment world in 1996 with the television series Mumkin, and later that year made his big-screen debut in the thriller Dastak, sharing the screen with Sushmita Sen.

Actor Vindu Dara Singh also mourned the loss in a heartfelt post on X.
“Rest in peace my brother #MukulDev! The time spent with you will always be cherished and #SonOfSardaar2 will be your swansong where you will spread joy and happiness to the viewers and make them fall down laughing!” he said.
