
Moscow [Russia], July 19 (ANI/MIC Izvestia): Four people were killed in a collision between a truck and a car in the Kuzbass region, the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Friday.
The accident occurred at the 74th kilometer of the Belovo–Konovalovo–Prokopyevsk highway.
“Preliminary findings indicate that a 44-year-old Kamaz truck driver veered into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a VAZ-2110 car,” the department said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
The 19-year-old driver of the car and three of his passengers died at the scene before medical personnel arrived. Authorities said an investigation is underway to determine the full circumstances of the crash.
The day before, two people were killed in a separate accident in the Orenburg region involving a passenger car, a truck, and a fuel tanker. That incident occurred at the 255th kilometer of the M-5 Ural highway, where fires resulting from the crash were extinguished by eight specialists using three fire engines. (ANI/MIC Izvestia)
