
New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the national capital on Sunday due to stomach-related issues, the hospital confirmed.
The senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP is currently under observation in the hospital’s gastroenterology department, according to an official statement.
Earlier, on June 7, Sonia Gandhi had been admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, for a routine health check-up following minor health complaints.
Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) to the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, had stated that her condition was stable at that time, and doctors had found no serious concerns during the evaluation. (ANI)
