New Delhi [India], June 16 (ANI): In a landmark move to enhance the integrity and security of government recruitment exams, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has implemented an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered content authoring tool developed by Cubastion Consulting. The system, designed to prevent exam paper leaks, was used for the first time during a departmental competitive examination for central government positions on June 15.
The AI-based system automates the selection of questions from a vast pre-approved question bank, ensuring that the final exam paper is well-structured, free from duplication, and tailored dynamically in real-time just before the start of the exam. This innovation significantly improves both the quality and the confidentiality of the exam.
A major feature of the new system is that the question paper is generated and released only 15 minutes before the exam begins. Until then, no person—including exam officials—can access or view the contents. The system uses multiple layers of digital security, including digital verification, encryption, and digital signatures, to ensure that the paper remains inaccessible and tamper-proof.
The exam papers can only be decrypted using the correct digital signature, drastically reducing any possibility of a leak. The AI-driven technology is built on a “zero-trust” cybersecurity model, where all access attempts must be authenticated regardless of origin, reinforcing accountability and airtight protection at every level.
SSC Chairman S. Gopalakrishnan hailed the initiative, stating, “We are proud to have enabled the first-ever examination to be conducted through this advanced infrastructure. It’s a transformational moment, not just for SSC but for the broader examination ecosystem in India.”
Ravi Kumar, CEO of Cubastion Consulting, described the rollout as a “landmark step in examination security,” noting that the dynamic, real-time generation of the exam paper enhances both agility and structural security.
Deepanshu Sharma, Project Lead at Cubastion, emphasized the broader implications of the new system. “What was once a fragmented and manual process is now a unified, machine-driven ecosystem capable of scaling across the country. This isn’t just an upgrade—it’s the future of secure examination delivery,” he said.
With parts of the SSC’s workflow already digitized, the success of this system could pave the way for a comprehensive digital transformation of recruitment exams across India. The move promises to make the examination process faster, fairer, and more secure nationwide. (ANI)
