TEL AVIV, December 21 (ANI/TPS): Tel Aviv University and Google Israel have launched a new three-year program aimed at advancing research in core areas of artificial intelligence.
Google.org will provide USD 1 million in funding to support scholarships, research grants, and educational initiatives under the program.
The initiative will be led by Tel Aviv University’s Centre for AI and Data Science under the direction of Prof. Yishay Mansour. It will focus on foundational AI research, including language models, algorithmic efficiency, and privacy.
New components of the program include an honours track for graduate students and the BITS of AI program designed for teenagers from Israel’s geographic and social peripheries.
