Tel Aviv [Israel], October 11 (ANI/TPS): In a statement addressing the agreement to end the war, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine declared that they would not accept any form of “foreign rule” in Gaza.
The groups stated that governance in Gaza is a “Palestinian matter,” while expressing a “willingness” for Arab countries and the international community to assist in rebuilding the Strip.
They also noted that an agreement has been reached “on implementing the first phase” of the deal and pledged to continue efforts toward securing the release of remaining Palestinian prisoners held in Israel. (ANI/TPS)
