
Tehran [Iran], May 28 (ANI): Three Indian nationals have gone missing in Iran, prompting swift diplomatic intervention by the Indian Embassy in Tehran. The Embassy confirmed that it has taken up the matter with Iranian authorities, urging them to locate the individuals and ensure their safety.
According to an official statement shared on social media platform X, the families of the missing individuals had informed the Embassy that their relatives were untraceable after traveling to Iran. In response, the Indian mission has initiated efforts to coordinate with Iranian officials for a prompt resolution.
“Family members of 3 Indian citizens have informed the Embassy of India that their relatives are missing after having traveled to Iran,” the Embassy stated. “The Embassy has strongly taken up this matter with the Iranian authorities and requested that the missing Indians should be urgently traced and their safety should be ensured.”
The Embassy also emphasized that it is maintaining regular contact with the families of the missing individuals, keeping them informed of the latest developments and the steps being taken to locate their loved ones.
