Washington, DC [US], July 21 (ANI): US President Donald Trump on Monday posted an AI-generated video depicting former President Barack Obama being arrested by FBI agents, as part of a political message claiming no one is above the law.
The video, shared on Trump’s Truth Social platform, shows Obama in the Oval Office asserting, “especially the President is above the law,” followed by a montage of various US leaders declaring, “no one is above the law.” The clip then portrays two FBI agents handcuffing Obama in the Oval Office while Trump watches from the sidelines, grinning. It ends with scenes of Obama wearing an orange jumpsuit, sitting and pacing inside a jail cell.
The video comes days after US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic lawmaker, publicly called for the Obama administration to be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” In a press release, Gabbard alleged that Obama-era officials “manufactured” intelligence claiming Russian interference in the 2016 election to undermine Trump’s presidency.
Gabbard, citing what she called declassified documents, accused the Obama administration of orchestrating a “years-long coup against President Trump,” saying on X, “No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The integrity of our democratic republic depends on it.”
Meanwhile, the White House continued to amplify its messaging about Trump’s leadership, posting on X: “Six months in, President Trump took command — launched an all-out offensive to crush the left’s mess and bring American power roaring back. The border is fortified. The economy is unleashed. The One Big Beautiful Bill is law. This is unapologetic, America-first leadership.”
The administration’s social media team also released a digitally edited movie poster Thursday night, replacing actor David Corenswet with Trump in the new Superman film. The poster bore the tagline “A Trump presidency” and the slogan: “Truth. Justice. The American Way,” with the caption calling “Superman Trump” a “Symbol of hope.” (ANI)
