
Dubai [UAE], May 1 (ANI/WAM): The fourth edition of the World Police Summit is set to convene from May 13 to 15 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
Organized by Dubai Police, the summit will bring together more than 150 speakers and top security officials from over 100 countries, establishing a global platform for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation in law enforcement. Key topics will include community safety, cutting-edge technologies, and cross-border cooperation.
Emirates Airlines returns as the official airline partner for the event. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, stated that the partnership highlights their shared commitment to strengthening aviation security and supporting global efforts to counter cyber threats and terrorism.
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasized the significance of the summit, saying, “Through impactful international events, we anticipate and counter evolving threats, strengthening community safety around the world.”
The 2025 edition will feature notable speakers such as Irakli Beridze of UNICRI, Michael LeVine of the U.S. Consulate in Dubai, human trafficking survivor and advocate Theresa Flores, cybercrime expert Dr. Charis Savvides, and ethics advisor Jimena Viveros.
Sessions will also focus on child protection in the digital space, featuring speakers like Maryam Al Obaid (Advisor, The Executive Council), Pragathi Tummala (CEO, ISPCAN), and Elodie Tranchez (UNITAR).
The summit will span four platforms and 12 thematic tracks, covering issues such as anti-money laundering, organized crime, aviation security, cybercrime, artificial intelligence in policing, traffic safety, narcotics control, digital transformation, and community policing.
Supported by international institutions including the FBI, UNODC, EUROPOL, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the summit also partners with leading corporations such as Samsung, du, ESRI, Presight, Dahua Technology, Inkas Armored Vehicles, and Aksum Marine.
An extensive exhibition will feature over 200 companies showcasing innovations in AI, surveillance, armored vehicles, and maritime security, reinforcing the summit’s role as a leading global platform for public safety advancement.
