If you ever thought the evil crimes
you have sown wouldn’t boomerang on you,
you’re wrong. You will reap in the flesh
whatever you have sown in the flesh.
If you are wise, you’ll refrain from
plotting evil against your fellowmen.
Partake in no schemes to ruin their lives,
for it will never fail to claim yours too!
If you ever took pleasure
in causing others pain,
you are sowing the seeds of pain
which will return to you a hundredfold.
Tares need no water, nor manure, not even good soil—
they will grow lush without your effort.
So it is with evil traits; you don’t have to nurture.
But clearing them is an uphill task!
If not cleared in due season, they will claim your soul.
Before you know it, you’ll be in their grip.
It is a one-way trip—you can’t escape.
Hence, beware what demons you feed!
All those souls who used you
while you held the reins of power
will never be there to bail you out,
but will flee as if escaping an oncoming torrent.
Serve not the crimes nor the instruments of evil.
If you hold fast to truth and serve with integrity,
you’ll never fall—you’ll be strong as a fortress.
And surely, you will enjoy the fruits of your virtues.
