
New Delhi [India], April 2 (ANI): Indian karting prodigy Jagrat Detroja is set to compete in the 2025 FIA Karting European Championship and FIA Karting World Championship, marking a significant milestone in his motorsport career. At just 13 years old, Jagrat has already made a name for himself on the international karting circuit with multiple podium finishes.
Rising Star in Motorsport
- Jagrat began his racing journey in 2018 at the age of seven, securing his first podium and the ‘Best Newcomer of the Year’ title.
- In 2020, he moved to Spain to train with ETMC Motorsports and Tony Kart, a prestigious Italian kart manufacturer.
- His performances have remained consistent, finishing P3 in the Spanish Championship and competing in major international karting series such as the 2024 FIA Karting Championship, Champions of the Future, and WSK Championship.
Representing India on the Global Stage
- In 2024, Jagrat competed at the FIA Motorsport Games, securing pole position in the Junior category.
- Despite a technical issue in the final race, he finished P5, narrowly missing a medal for India.
- He is the only Indian driver across all categories in the 2025 FIA Karting Championship, racing against some of the world’s best young talents.
