
Jaipur, April 22 (ANI): In the wake of the devastating terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, global leaders have expressed their sorrow and solidarity with India. The attack, which left several civilians injured and multiple fatalities feared, has sparked an outpouring of condemnation and grief.
US Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, who are currently on a visit to India, extended heartfelt condolences.
“Usha and I extend our condolences to the victims of the devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. Over the past few days, we have been overcome with the beauty of this country and its people. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they mourn this horrific attack,” Vance posted on X.
President Droupadi Murmu also shared a strong statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan:
“The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam is shocking and painful. It is a dastardly and inhuman act which must be condemned unequivocally… My heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their dear ones and prayers for the quick recovery of the injured.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his post on X, condemned the act in the strongest terms:
“I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam… Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice… they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakeable, and it will get even stronger.”
International leaders have also expressed solidarity with India:

“Deeply saddened by the heinous terror attack on tourists in #Pahalgam… Israel stands united with India in the fight against terror.”
The attack, which occurred in the Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, has shocked the nation and the international community alike. Security forces have launched an intensive search operation in the area, while the Indian government has promised firm action against those responsible. The incident has not only shaken the tourism sector but also prompted calls for stricter counter-terrorism measures.
