Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 11 (ANI): The death toll in a tragic road accident in Kakori, Lucknow, has risen to five after a roadways bus veered off a bridge and plunged into a ditch on Thursday. Several passengers sustained injuries and have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Officials confirmed that the injured are receiving medical care, while local police, Malihabad Police, and the fire department are actively conducting rescue operations at the accident site.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken note of the incident and directed officials to expedite rescue and relief efforts. He also instructed that the injured receive proper medical treatment. (ANI)
