Trump Blasts Biden Over Border, Vows to Deport Criminals

Washington D.C., April 19 (ANI): U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday accused his predecessor, Joe Biden, of allowing criminals to enter the United States through its border, asserting that it was his responsibility to remove these individuals.

In a post on X, Trump criticized Biden’s handling of the U.S. border, saying, “Sleepy Joe Biden, THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, has allowed millions and millions of criminals, many of them murderers, drug dealers, and people released from prisons and mental institutions from all around the world, to enter our Country through its very dangerous and ill-conceived Open Border. Sorry, but it’s my job to get these killers and thugs out of here. THAT’S WHAT I GOT ELECTED TO DO. MAGA!”

The comments come as a federal judge in Washington D.C. ruled that he did not have the power to pause the deportations of Venezuelan migrants under the Alien Enemies Act, despite expressing concerns about the administration’s actions. During the hearing, Judge James Boasberg explained that only courts with jurisdiction over the Texas detention center could intervene.

A group of Venezuelan migrants in Texas filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court, seeking to halt their deportation under the Act. The migrants’ legal team argued that the government’s expedited actions did not allow for proper notice or a fair opportunity to contest their removal, citing a recent Supreme Court ruling that requires migrants to be notified and given a chance for judicial review before being deported.

The case highlights ongoing tensions over the Trump administration’s use of wartime authority to deport migrants rapidly.
